Kids vending Day!
Kids vending Day is a one-of-a-kind event at Elon Community Church Farmers Market where kids have the opportunity to enjoy and share with the community their entrepreneurial and artistic endeavors.
All children 16 years and younger are welcome to bring and sell, their homemade crafts and homegrown produce.
Bring a table, to help display your items and invite all your friends and relatives down to the market for this day of children's commerce.
If you know a kid who is interested in vending at the Elon Community Church Farmers Market be sure to have them or their parents reserve space ahead of time by emailing the Market Coordinators at contactus@eccfarmersmarket.org or by signing up at the market information booth on Thursdays from 3:00 to 6:30 p.m.
This is a postcard of what happened on Kids vending Day at ECC farmers market during our 2009 season.
Along with our Kids etrepreneurs we had "The Butterfly Lady" who visited us bringing her beautiful butterflies and all the butterfly info to share with kids and adults alike and that day ended with a Monarch Butterfly Release!
Also on Kids Vending Day we have Michaela Walker who shared with the kids information about waste reduction, recycling and composting.
